Let's Talk is an ongoing program that connects you with Bessel van der Kolk and other members of your community, offering a deep dive into the issues that are most important to you. In this Special Topic Q&A, the group will focus on Domestic Violence.
During each Let's Talk Q&A, Dr. van der Kolk will discuss important issues, research, and case studies, as well as answer questions submitted by participants. The Q&A is designed to spark conversation amongst the group as participants have the option to make comments and ask follow up questions.
Domestic Violence Let's Talk is great for anyone with a personal or professional interest in learning more about the topic.
After participating in the Domestic Violence Q&A, you will be able to:
- Learn and discuss some of the important issues and challenges within this community
- Communicate how traumatized people process information
- Critique the effect of adverse childhood experiences on brain development
- Assess the impact of sensory motor processing when trauma is re-experienced
Completion of the 2 REQUIRED is required before joining any future LET'S TALK program.
